MEvoLib is the first molecuar evolution library of free tools for Python 2.7 and Python 3.3 or newer.



The latest stable version can be downloaded here. The latest source code is available at GitHub.

We have developed a shell script for an easy way to install all the suggested phylogenetic tools for MEvoLib. It can be downloaded here.

If you have any trouble installing the library, please contact us (see Contact section below). Meanwhile, we provide a Linux virtual machine (.ovf) with MEvoLib fully installed and functional that can be downloaded here. To login, just type user. To change between Spanish and English keyboard layouts press Control + Alt.



The manual can be downloaded here. We have also created three Jupyter notebooks: i) the study of the MT-ATP6 and MT-ATP8 genes [download]; ii) the study of the Borrelia burgdorferi s.l. bacterium [download]; and iii) the performance study of the Genes method [download].
